9.3.10

1.  Picture at dawn from the Cornell Clock tower.  I took this on Thursday morning in preparation for Friday but then Friday was so busy that I forgot to post it.

2.  A common Greek saying that I learned yesterday in class:

Δεν φοβαμε τιποτα. (say 'then fo-va-meh tee-pota')
Δεν ελπιζω τιποτα. (say 'then el-pee-zo tee-pota')
Αρα ειμαι ελευθερος. (say 'ara ee-may el-fth-eh-ros')
    -Νικος Καζαντζακης (by Nikos Kazantzakis)

which means

    I'm afraid of nothing.
    I hope for nothing.
    So I'm free.
